IN PARTNERSHIP WITH TOYS FOR HOSPITALIZED CHILDREN NON-PROFIT
Children in Kentucky, New Jersey and Michigan Get First Make It Real Donations
Baltimore based toy maker Make It Real, which manufactures products that provide content experiences to give tween girls an outlet into design and creativity, has partnered with Toys for Hospitalized Children.
We shipped toys to 10,000 children in 25 hospitals around the country, as a result of this generous donation.
“Child Life specialists at hospitals have requested Make It Real toys because they can distract youngsters from painful procedures or the scary aspects of being sick. Boredom and pain are huge challenges for kids in the hospital. We try to help the hospital staff engage the kids with crafts and games to occupy them during the long hours spent there,” said JJ Hecht, President, Toys for Hospitalized Children. “We know happy kids heal faster, and we’re doing what we can to lift their spirits, with gratitude to Make It Real for partnering with us.”
Isaac Wolman, CEO of Make It Real said, "Make It Real is very excited to be partnering with TFHC to provide toys and activities for hospitalized children. JJ and his team have been a pleasure to work with and we are grateful for the opportunity to utilize their incredible network of partnerships to ensure that kids from around the country and around the world can be one smile closer to healing."
